This two-part series is for people who want a gentle space to explore these topics: death, body disposition, and funeral planning for our loved ones. This small, supportive gathering will be light, informative, with no pressure.
Session 1: What Remains
Monday February 16, 6-7:30pm
We will begin by centering our bodies with gentle yoga and a guided savasana meditation. After, we will do an intentional reading of the Body Disposition Authorization form to better understand what options are available, and what these options mean to us.
Session 2: Who Remains
Monday February 23, 6-7:30pm
We will begin by centering our bodies with gentle yoga and a guided savasana meditation. After, we will do an intentional reading of the Appointment for Disposition of Remains form to discuss who might carry out our final wishes.
By donation on a sliding scale, intended to cover the cost of studio rental space. No one turned away for lack of funds <3

Free, join in the little meeting room. This is a laidback gathering to connect on what's important to us and how it relates to yoga*. The purpose is to learn from one another as equals, each with our own unique wisdom to share. We might not think of it as wisdom, but our experiences, perspectives, and insights may guide, inspire, or inform someone seeking to understand more.
*yoga as in movement, breath, meditation, solidarity, organizing, creating, etc.
Think about the relationships between bodily autonomy and strength training, yoga and practicing compassion, things like sobriety and veganism, buy-nothing groups and little free libraries. In what ways are you choosing alternatives to the status quo of consumerism, capitalism, control, fear, and influence, and how does that tie into yoga, liberation, connectivity, and community?
RSVP: Community Wisdom Sharing Circle
